PRP/PRF
PRP/PRF Injection Treatment in Woodinville WA
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) has been used to treat a variety of medical concerns for many years due to its high level of natural growth factors. Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is aesthetic medicine’s next generation of PRP. This treatment is 100% natural and harvested from your very own blood. PRP and PRF are known as “liquid gold” because this mixture leads to cell proliferation and tissue regeneration and takes on a golden hue after being separated from red blood cells. At KOCO, we use the next generation of Smart Blood Concentrates to generate Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF). PRF is a complex Fibrin Matrix rich in Platelets, Leukocytes, and Mesenchymal stem cells. Once injected into the superficial layer of the skin, over the next 10-12 days, growth factors and interleukins are constantly released. This leads to accelerated tissue healing and regenerative processes. This 100% natural rejuvenation technique is substantially progressive in aesthetic medicine. It is an improved form of the well-established PRP technique, where growth factors are released only a few minutes after each treatment. Our EZPRF system can be used alone or in combination with collagen induction therapy to treat the following concerns:
- Dark circles
- Hair loss (scalp, eyebrows, other facial hair)
- Skin tone and texture
- Acne scarring
- Wrinkles and fine lines
- Tear trough hollowing
- Deep static folds
- Brown spots or hyper-pigmentation
- Volume loss and asymmetry
- Female health
PRP and The O-Shot®
The O-Shot® is an excellent treatment option for women with a decreased sex drive, vaginal dryness, chronic vaginal pain, urinary incontinence, or chronic interstitial cystitis. During O-Shot® therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is injected into the clitoris, labia, and G-spot to promote the healing of damaged tissue and the growth of new blood vessels and nerves.
Microneedling with PRP/PRF
Microneedling makes micro-injuries in the skin to encourage collagen and elastin production, add volume to hollow areas, diminish the appearance of acne scarring, minimize the appearance of pores, and decrease the appearance of lines and wrinkles. PRP is absorbed by the skin and shortens microneedling recovery time while hastening collagen production. Microneedling with PRP is the perfect option for all skin types and addresses multiple skin concerns.
PRP/PRF for Hair Restoration
Men and women suffering from weak, brittle, and thinning hair can benefit from hair restoration with PRP/PRF. Those in the early stages of hair loss may experience the most significant results. PRP/PRF is injected into the scalp to reverse the depreciation of hair follicles and promote thicker, longer, healthier strands of hair.
PRP and Filler Combination Treatment
PRP can be merged with dermal filler to improve facial volume. Adding PRP to the dermal filler injections creates a more natural result in areas with thinning skin, such as under-eye areas. Most people are candidates for the PRP and filler combination. Results are generally noticed six weeks after your initial treatment.

Your KOCO injector will sterilize the treatment area when you arrive at your appointment. A topical anesthetic can numb the area and control comfort levels. Then, your injector will distribute the filler under the skin. Pain levels are very manageable. Most patients describe the sensation as a pinch that dissipates quickly. You’ll notice swelling immediately, and later some light bruising and tenderness may occur. We recommend easing swelling with a cool compress for short periods at a time.
You’ll notice results immediately following your filler injections! You will likely swell to double the size you were anticipating. When you swell, you might like the added volume. If this is the case, you might be a candidate for more filler. However, the swelling subsides within a week, and you’ll feel confident with your filler results! Touch-up injections are required to maintain your look.
