After a chemical peel treatment, the outermost layer of skin will gradually shed off. Once the top layer has shed, new, healthier skin will be revealed. TCA Peel

Smart TCA Peel is the deepest superficial peel available at KOCO Medical Aesthetics. This medical-grade chemical peel is the best option to fight discoloration, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. Chemical peels are less inflammatory than lasers and are a quick way to achieve an overall brighter complexion. The Smart TCA Peel is a blend of 15% trichloroacetic acid and 3% glycolic acid. When used together, dead skin cells are comprehensively exfoliated. This process causes skin cell turnover leading to a brighter, more even skin tone and improving overall texture.

​Micropeel Sensitive Skin

Micropeel Sensitive skin is a light superficial peel that can be used on all skin types. This is a perfect starter peel, suitable for all skin types, and especially effective for sensitive skin. Active ingredients include niacin, glycolic acid, lactic acid, and phytic acid, which bring dry, dead skin to the surface. This mild clinical-grade peel gently exfoliates and detoxifies pores while hydrating skin. Chemical peel treatment has numerous benefits, including fuller, plumper skin, better tone and texture, and a brighter, more radiant complexion. 
Chemical peels are achieved by topically applying a safe chemical solution to the skin. This chemical solution improves the texture and tone by shedding dead skin cells and replacing them with healthier skin cells. The damaged skin will exfoliate and peel off over days. The results are healthier, brighter, and glowing skin.
It can take approximately three to ten days to shed the old, damaged skin and uncover the healthier, more youthful skin underneath—plan for significant flaking and shedding after treatment. Do not pick at the skin or “help” it shed, as this may lead to scarring.
